Was this taken with a DSLR?

Gala

The reason why I doubt the PS job done to it is the hair strands are still there if you know what I mean, for a fake DOF you need to "overlap" the girl with it to fake it well. Apart from size comparison with the rest of the image I am starting to notice the tones of her do not match those of the rest of the image, she is too "bright" for a cloudy sky. The only other solution I can see is if the background was pre-blurred and she was added in with minimal blur added to her overall "cut in", it could be studio work after noticing that.

Well yeah the colors was what I thought of first. But it could maybe be a poor picture, have no idea I'm mostly guessing and trying to find stuff to support them haha.

yeah, but still  significant ammount of depth

What he means is that it is not a good enough comparison given the distance between your shared shot and the OP's image.

No photo editing what so ever. She does not have the skill to do it, the only person being able to do something like that, who she knows, is me.

Okey. then I would guess its taken by a mobile with a mid-range camera. Not good enough to be something like a S6 or iPhone 6 but more like some mid range phone camera.

The Galaxy S4 being the only phone in her proximity. S4 maybe? It has the Sony IMX135 EXMOR RS sensor.

My initial thoughts as well if that is the case.

I dont think this was taken on a phone, but at the same time just because it wasnt taken on phone doesnt mean it was taken with a DSLR, could be a point n shoot of some kind.
