Futureproof

Ghostay

How would you rate this build as futureproof in years?

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/LZ9zTW

And how well would it perform in recentish games? Like Planetside 2, or a Battlefield game?

Thanks.

Don't use that word. Such a thing does not exist.

Also we have no idea what games will be like in the future, or really how DX12 will affect them and requirements.

If you're playing at 1080p you'll be more than fine.

  1. you need a better cpu cooling solution; corsair h60 or the noctua u12s
  2. you need a better monitor; get a 1ms 144 hertz monitor from asus

edit:

with a 390, you need a good gaming monitor

I might be naive, but I cannot find any reason to need anything over 60 HZ, if this is the case; should I lower the GPU down?
