I screwed up

Khajiit Dealer

My new computer was supposed to arrive yesterday between 2:15-6:15 via UPS ground. At 4:15 I decide to go for a quick 10 minute jog, figuring that the possibility of them delivering it during this period was negligible.

That decision turned out to be the worst mistake of my life. During that window of time, they attempted to deliver it to my house and since a signature is required, they just left with my package.

They're going to make a second attempt today, but with my luck the truck will probably explode.

Run after the UPS truck like it's an Ice cream truck!  :D

But yeah as said most leave a note for a location for you to pickup the package at.

Bummer. I had this happen several years ago with a dell laptop. I tried to call them and see if I could go to the location to pick it up and they said "no", as it was a loading dock/warehouse.

When you call nowadays, all you get is a robot answering everything.

Right. Can't they just leave the package at the post office for you to pick up?

I don't know where New England is (I assume not in England. That would be awkward), but UPS in Australia (like most other delivery companies) leaves the package at the post office if they are unable to deliver it personally.

Or if they're anything like the local Australia Post courier for me, he's gotten to used to me being in ear shot he just calls out and leaves the parcel inside our locked gate lol. DHL from my experience are UPS' counter part here, last time they rang me to tell me to come out and get my package, lazy bastards heh.
