Temperature Monitoring

I have a gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming and an intel i7 4790k processor.

I am new in topics such as temperature and so on. So I wonder if there is any software that helps me to monitor the temperature, does Intel and nvidia/gigabyte provide such software?

AIDA64 is a good all round diagnostic software that can provide you with Temps.

Its one of those pick your poison type questions. There are many. Basic ones are CoreTemp and RealTemp. Bit more comes with HWmonitor, OpenHardwareMonitor and Speccy. Even more with Aida64 and HWiNFO. Also good to check are MSI Afterburner and Speedfan.
