Cant install 2 updates (win 8.1)

The updates are (KB2976978) and (KB3038936). 

 

And the error details: Code 800F0922

 

 

Anyone have any ideas to fix this?

Search the error code on the internet (I'm sorry, WEB lel). From what I seen, it's from not enough space in the system reserved partition.

i did, and from what i read i had to reset the windows update in the registry (which i did) and do several scans in cmd which came up clean.

Run an administrative command prompt. Run these in consecutive order:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc.exe /scannow

Then restart your computer and check Windows Update again.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc.exe /scannow

Then restart your computer and check Windows Update again.

 

i did all 3 in order and here are my results:

1)
No component store corruption detected. The operation completed successfully
 
2)
The restore operation completed successfully. The component store corruption was repaired. The operation completed successfully
 
3)
Windows Resources Protection did not find any intergrity violations.
 
 
restarted and retried those 2 updates. And it is still giving me the error

Run.....services.msc, stop the "windows update service" and delete all the contents of "c:\windows\software distribution" folder.


Reboot and try again.

Disable Secure Boot in your BIOS/UEFI. Restart, and try to Install the updates. Re-Enable Secure Boot after the updates install.
