  • if you're gaming only, go with an i5-6600k

you need a better cpu cooling solution. get the h60 or the u12s by noctua

i recommend the asus z170-p and not the "d3" version so that you can take advantage of ddr4 ram

if you're only gaming, you don't need 16gb of ram, get 8gb

your hdd is far too slow. get a 7200 rpm hdd minimum

get a better 970 or go with the better gpu in the r9 390; get the msi version as it's not voltage locked

you don't need all those silly fans

DDR3 does not work with skylake, get a DDR4 kit

the asus z170-p d3 version supports ddr3 ram only and can be used with skylake cpu's

The reason i am not going with the i5 6600k is because if i spend the extra 100 dollers or so i can get the i7 and like i said i rather go big if i am spending this much.

first of all, there are people who completely deleted your build and made their own. they didn't thought about the case or why do you needed that much storage

now:

get an i5 skylake and with the saved money get a 980 which will outperforn am i7 with a 970

get wd blue drives. the black ones are louder and perform about the same(at most a 5-10mb.s difference)

you;re overspending on ram toooooo much

don't know if you really need 16gb but i used a way cheaper kit

i'd take a bigger psu if you're gonna run that many drives

you didn't had any ssd so i included one

you could probably get a 980ti if you would get only 8gb of ram and one less hdd but even as the system is now, it's alot better than what you came up with the first time

AMD Athlon X4 750k; Gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2; 8Gb Corsair XMS 1600 Mhz; AMD Hd5670 1Gb DDR3; Bequiet E6-600W; W7 Ultimate x64

#KILLEDMYWIFE                                                                                                                                                                                                                         so miner; very doge; much value

Dell Vostro 5470: i5 4200U Nvidia GT740m 2Gb 14" 1366x768 Kingston V300 120Gb
