Is there an AIO Windows 10 ISO?

Tazman192

Basically what the title says.

Is there a way to make a single bootable USB that allows me to install Windows 10 as Home Premium or Professional,  UEFI or Legacy mode?

Cheers.

...UEFI or Legacy mode?...

This doesn't depend on ISO- different is the way you make bootable USB...

That's.... illegal? As in you can install either Home or Pro?

The ISOs are freely distributed. If it were a keygen type thing, then it would be illegal, as it's the license you pay for, not the ISO/files.

This is where I find torrents helpful. Not all of them are cracked windows, many just have the iso file. I can PM you the details because I feel like this falls into grey area of CoC

It's not. Microsoft even offered free downloads of windows 7 and 8 iso files for a few years, they just are not activated.

The WIM ISOs contain both Home and Pro, the ESD one does not.

Is it possible to make a bootable USB that can do both UEFI and BIOS installations? I have torrented them before for Windows 8.1 (the ISO, not a keygen) I should add, just wondering if Microsoft has released any official ISO that contains both home premium and pro.

I'd appreciate that, thanks.

How do I get access to WIM ISO's? What even is a WIM/ESD iso lol..

WIM ISOs are direct downloads of ISOs, ESD ones are created by the Media Creation Tool. Easiest way to get WIM ISOs is https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench

Home and Pro in a single ISO. The ISO is for both UEFI and BIOS, but the USB creation requires an extra step.

Is there a guide I can follow that will allow me to create a bootable USB using that ISO that allows for UEFI or BIOS installation?

It's quite simple.

1. Use 7-zip to copy the contents of the ISO to a USB drive that is 5GB or larger.

2. Copy a file named bootsect.exe from the boot folder into C:\Windows\system32.

3. Type cmd into the Start Menu, then press Ctrl+Shift+Enter

4. Accept the UAC prompt

5. Run the command 'bootsect /nt60 E:", replacing E: with the drive letter of your USB.

And there you have it. Now you have a USB that can install both Windows 10 Home and Pro into BIOS and UEFI machines.

What if I were to use Rufus USB Utility, would this allow me to do the same?

Yes. But make sure that it formats the drive in FAT32, not NTFS.

Okay. Do I choose MBR or GPT option?

That site doesn't really look legit. What is the SHA1 hash of the ISO? You can use HashCalc to find out.

And if Rufus doesn't work, feel free to try manually creating the USB with my instructions.

I virus scanned the .iso and everything looked fine, however haven't tried installing w10 with it.

I was asking for an SHA1 hash, not a virus scan.

I removed it as I didn't want to take the risk. I'll see if I can find an official AIO iso.
