if I buy win7 key, how can I convert it to win 10?

Go to solution Solved by itachipirate,

Just buy a Windows 10 key. You can convert it from Windows 7, but it will become invalid if you switch your motherboard or CPU

1. Make a bootable Windows 7 USB (Google it if you don't know how)

2. Boot from USB, install to SSD when asked where you want to install Windows

3. Use Microsoft's media creation tool and choose "in-place upgrade" to go from Windows 7 to Windows 10

You already have the Windows 7 key? if so you'll have to Install the Windows 7 on that SSD, then Upgrade to Windows 10. For Windows 10 upgrade, Use this link to download the ISO https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10. Then You have Windows 10 pro now.
