That build is allround pretty badass.

I don't quite understand the pricing on the GPUs, but i guess you pay 2 x 318 bucks for the cards, at which point i would suggest to go GTX 980 Ti.

Also double the SSD size, it's not that much more expensive.

who cares...

You should have gone for a x99 build at this price...

Depends on what the's going to do. For gaming certainly not...

Why? Its a very balanced build... I would try to get another 8gb of ram in it, especially seeing as there are dual 970s in it, other than that its fine.

Well its true and you get more for your money with R9 390 compared to 3.5 GB 970 which they shamelessly advertise as 4GB

Not this shit again. Depends on OPs resolution. anything up to 1440P is fine with it, i know it from my own experience.

However the point is that OP already has a 970 and would just loose time and money by going to different cards.

who cares...

Asus Z170-A or MSI Z170A KRAIT GAMING for the motherboard. You don't need that expensive motherboard. For the money you save on

that motherboard, You can get the double sized SSD.

EVGA G2/GS series for the power supply. They are cheap but better.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

hmmm. you may experience some inconveniences due to the lack of VRAM on these cards. And since DirectX 12 - which would allow combining VRAM instead of maintaining it - is still a long time away, i would recommend either seriously reading up on 970 SLI at 4k resolutions to be sure what you're getting into, or get rid of the card alltogether and go with a 980 Ti instead.

who cares...
