Best CPU for non gamers

So I am looking to build a system that is a kick ass multitasking beast of a machine. For price point I am looking to spend no more than $600. 

 

My goal is to run dual 4k monitors(not considered in the overall price) and be able to multitask and view video in 4k @ 60z. I do not game so that is not in any of my considerations. 

 

So I am looking for an i5 or lower cpu. As for gpu I believe that the EVGA GeForce GTX950 SSC should do the trick as it has HDMI 2.0 and there Display 1.2 ports on it. So multiple 4k monitors should be ok. I just want to make sure i have a powerful enough CPU to push the gpu and to multitask. 

 

I am also looking for a mATX MB for this build also. 

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No, for a cpu, mb, ram and gpu. I have a Thermaltake Core V21 and a Samsung Evo 250gb SSD already.

i3 would be better than a pentium, 6300 and 8350 since it has hyperthreading and two strong cores. Overall an i5 would be best.

The i3 or Pentium is not a good option in this case, playing 4k video in VLC or even from YouTube benefits greatly from the more cores. Either an FX 6300 or even an 8350 will be great options. Xeon E3 also.

E3 1231 V3 . its more for LGA 1150 but that means you can just combine it with something like a H97 D3H or H97 PRO4 and you'll have a pretty nice machine there.

AMD FX-series CPU all the way then. Even if you were using it as a rendering PC, overclock the nuts off it and you've got some pretty damn good rendering performance. Not sure how good the mATX boards are, though.

I would not overclock, The actors talk to fast and it is hard to understand.

All kidding aside I heard that 16 gig helps in rendering. And I would see if there is a microcenter near by if you go the FX route, there cpu/mb combos are good, and if you get a bad mb(it happens) you don't have to deal with the mail. Big 8 core cpu,big mem,cheap board:)

Even people that HATE amd admit  the fx 8xxx is better at rendering
