VERIZON? REALLY?

Well... i got a samsung galaxy s5 from verizon yesterday and i thought i could root it.. I THOUGHT I COULD ROOT IT, THE VERY REASON I SPENT 600 DOLLARS ON A CELLPHONE! IT TURNS OUT THE BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED. Anyone have any ideas why verizon locked it??

 

 

 

seriously verizon WTF i swear to god i will find a way to root lolipop 5 and root this phone...

try flashing older firmware. Thats how I rooted my s4 active

I had an s4 active and I didnt like anything over it to my nexus 5. Not to mentiun the screen troubles I have had

So you're upset that you didn't do your own research before buying the device for $600...

Whether or not it's a dick move for Verizon to lock bootloaders, it's still your fault for not checking first.

I got it for 150 with my upgrade

 

the other ones were very expensive

I'm staying on Verizon. 

If you didn't do the research before you bought the phone in the first place, you wouldn't have this.
