Hi,

I'm building my first PC and I'm looking for the quietest powersupply. I found the be quiet! System power 7 450W. Do you have good experiences with this PSU?

Or are there other good alternatives, I would like to know?

Thank you in advance :D

What are you going to need power for? What parts are you using? Are you intending to overclock?

what's your budget? intentions? the rest of your specs? overclocking?

from what i saw from previous owners, i say the xfx xtr power supplies are the most quietest and most efficient. it has a hybrid mode where the fan stays idle when there is no load (which can be all the time depending on your system)

My budget is €50-€80 so fanless will be too expensive.

I'm right now choosing between:

be quiet! System power 7 450W

Coolermaster V450 semimodular

Seasonic G-series 360W

Antec VPF series 450W

Those are all pretty good but is EVGAs GS series available to you? If not then the Seasonic is probably your best bet, though note that it doesn't have much headroom. The Cooler Master is, iirc a rebrand if the Seasonic G so read into how quiet it is and then make your purchase :)

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
