does anyone know a good web server on PCpartpicker or prebuilt. i am a NOOB so keep that in mind. thanks!

You could get away with using a Raspberry Pi as a webserver, but you're most likely far far far better off using a web hosting company, especially if you don't know what you're doing

in my office or in the garage connected to the router (most likely the router). i would be using it to make a website etc.

if its anything public, get a hosting company.

EDIT: online <dot> net is almost cheaper than using an old machine to host.
