If anyone thinks this thread is the wrong subforum, I'll be happy to move it.

Hi everyone, I tried posting this to the forum in PC Part Picker...I didn't get any replies so I thought I'd come here to you wonderful people.

I plan on using this machine for video editing, gaming at 4k resolutions when possible, and some light rendering. I plan on water cooling as well a building PC Desk Case like the Lian Li DK-02 very soon.

I live in the northwestern USA so temps shouldn't be problem.

Thank you!

Looking good. About the RAM though, says quad channel. Might be better off using 4x4gb if you're staying 16gb than 2x8.

Looks good, but I would change that PSU to an EVGA G2, which I believe are more reliable. Ask @STRMfrmXMN or @Aniallation for more details. Also have you considered going 1440P 144Hz G-Sync? Personally I would go for that over 4K, as it will allow you to max out every game with over 60fps, unlike 4K. IMO 4K is not really worth it at the moment, unless you have like 2 980Tis

Voltage regulation with this power supply ain't good and it's single railed. Don't forget the hard drive as well. Lastly, I don't think the 980ti can do 4K ultra in all games, maybe 1440p.

Change the PSU to a Supernova then it looks somewhat good

Did you forget the HDD?

That Fury is fine and it also comes with pre-sleeved cables so it gets a pass by me.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I plan on adding a Raid array later, once I've built the new case. Also, thanks for the info on the PSU, I'll be sure to change that. But I'm not a 60fps purist, as long as the framerate is 30 or above I'm happy. Based on all the benchmarks the cards been getting I'm betting it will work on an LG 34UC87C.

Thank you for the feedback!

P.S. I never knew XFX power supplies were good.
