Yes, I just referred to myself in the 3rd person lol

 

What's up guys. I just wanted to start a build log on my PC as I finally move away from a budget build into a high-endish Z97 build. This will be primarily used for video editing, gaming and hopefully some GPU benchmarking.

 

I'll be capturing my build and benchmark process on video for you guys to see but for now I wanted to post a few pictures of each component.

Motherboard - Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5

 

RAM - 16GB HyperX Savage 1866MHz (2x8GB)

 

Storage - 240GB HyperX Savage SSD

 

Storage - 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD

 

GPU - MSI Radeon R9 290X Lightning

 

PSU - be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850W

 

PSU Extension Cables - Bitfenix Alchemy Black

 

Case - Phanteks Enthoo Pro White

 

Thanks to HyperX for supplying the RAM and be quiet! for providing the PSU!

 

I will say, two things I wish I had for this build were a black mid-tower ATX case and full replacement cables for the PSU. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any help with that but I think the build should still come out pretty clean.
