The 270x is little better, but I always prefer Nvidia.

R9 270x is most likely better. I havent seen benchmarks yet though so I cant really tell you for sure.

Yeah ill get  the 270X the extra stream processors and the 256bit memory BUS makes the difference

You could save a bit more and get a 270 with a good custom cooler and OC it.

But i would chose the 270x out of the two

270X. Because I just saw the Ashes DX12 benchmark and trust me, in the future you will thank us for telling you to go with the 270X. the new API is bringing the 290X within spitting distance of the 980Ti. AMD is gonna make a huge comeback if the APIs can get implemented properly.

I think it's too soon to tell, so far the reviews for the 950 have been surprisingly good, but i think it's better to wait for people to get the card so you can have some costumer feedback. For what i've seen, the 950 is a card for 1080p at high or even ultra settings on AAA titles and great overall for less demanding ones like WOW

The main issue with GTX 950 is that it's closely priced to better cards like the R9 380 (285) or GTX 960, which are 15-20% better. I doubt a lot of people will buy it.

270x is inferior to 760, 950 is SUPERIOR to 760.

Check your facts mate - 270x outperforms the 950 AND the 760 - 2 years of drivers have increased performance substantially.

No. Different architectures, like 980 vs 780 Ti, 2048 vs 2880, but we all know who wins.

Theorically, nVidia should have name the 970 GTX 960 Ti and make a GTX 970 with full memory bandwidth, like 660 Ti vs 670, same card with narrower bus on the 660 Ti.
