9370 is crappy, get 9570.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

@Dravic 9570 doesn't exist. The only other one is 9590, which is a piece of silicon waste.

Yes I meant 9590, the fastest burning CPU of the world.

You can fry eggs with it while it tries to catch i3 in games.

Actually, the 9590 destroys the i3. Especially in newer games, where games are starting to use more cores. And in games like BF4, you can kiss your i3 goodbye.

However anyone who buys a 300 dollar CPU for gaming is an idiot. The proper thing to do would be to get a 8320 and overclock it to a 8350's speeds or higher.

Guys, maybe he already has a am3 motherboard? That's my guess. Anyway man, the 9590 is stupid. Just get a 8350 or 8320, a cooelrmaster Hyper 212Evo, and overclock. I don't see why you would hate on intel. They make amazing chips.

Correct, I was given a decent amd motherboard, I will be water cooling and am aiming to reach 5ghz, didn't think the 8320 was binned high enough to reach those clocks?

SILICON LOTTERY so to speak but amd tries to make it disappear by pricing the golden chips at 4 times the normal price...

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

Thing is if he explained "don't recommend intel I have an AM3 board already" it would have been much easier and taken 15seconds of his time.

i5-3570k @ 4.4ghz (1.240v) || Asrock extreme 4 || CM Hyper 212 evo

Samsung 840 || WD blue 1tb || WD green 1tb || Powercolor 7870 xt @ (1200 mhz core : 1500 mhz mem)

Powered by a silverstone strider 500w psu in a NZXT 210.

My suggestion:

Get the 8320 and a good cooling system with the extra $100 (a H100i or a Seidon 240 if you were gonna use the extra hundred anyway) and you will probably hit 5Ghz. If not get the 8320, a decent cooler and use the extra money on a fan, investment fund for your computer or a 1000 bubble gums

The silicon lottery dictates that. Not the cooling.

Buying the FX 8350 will allow you to save $150 that you could invest in a powerful cooler such as the H220 from Swiftech, so I'd go that route & buy some high quality noctua NF-F12 fans to boost the cooling performance even further.

ok, bad choice of words, how about now:

with the money of the 9370 get an 8320 and a good cooling solution, the 9370 doesn't come with any type of thermal solution, and if you're lucky enough you;ll reach 4.4Ghz no problem
