Its fine. Green run more efficiently, and slightly slower than other drives but are fine really for bulk storage of files.

Depending on what you will be using it for, the Green may not be the winner over a Blue or Black.

A Green drive is good for storing stuff like movies and pics and documents that dont really need anything more than 5400RPM speeds.

greens are good for storage but if you plan on storing games and such on them then get blues or blacks

WD Blacks, Blues are next best, Greens automatically ruled out in this era  ;) .

WD Greens are just meant for storage.

 

They are not performance oriented drives.

 

If you are looking only for storing somethings on it, get WD Green.

 

Otherwise WD Black or WD Blue.
