Why is the HTC One M8 so hard to root?

Just a quick question, why is the htc one m8 so hard to root? I just finished rooting it with a long and hard (lol) process that was much harder than any of my previous android phones to root. A lot of the other phones had software that I could use (3rd party) that would do the process for me!

It's not? It's almost just as easy to root as Nexus devices (it's actually the same process as a Nexus as well).

It's pretty easy. Android security had just gotten better over the years. If you want a hard root, try Samsung phones.

I've tried to use that before and didn't have any luck with it, the tool kit was more complicated than rooting the device manually!

1. Unlock bootloder

2. Flash custom recovery

3. Flash SuperSU

4. Profit?

What part are you stuck on? Also, what is your Android version?
