Arma 3 is poorly optimized, it isn't just you

His performance should still be better, so it isn't a case of "shit game shittily made" like everyone thinks. I get near constant 60 fps all the time and we have about the same specs power wise.

As for what could be the problem, I don't know OP.

Do you not play Arma 3 to say something like that?

Arma 3 isn't too bad on single player, but multiplayer just runs like garbage...

That's the thing, I know it's possible to get 60fps, my friend did with a 770 until he reinstalled and his settings reset

It's probably your settings. I had to run tweaked high-ultra with my 970... And only gained maybe 10fps when I got the 980

In what setting are you getting this low of fps? Like is it across all servers/worlds? If not open up a singleplayer game and see what fps you get in that and then compare to whatever else. If you're playing like KoTH and in the middle of the town you're going to get 20-30fps no matter what. Or another example is any of the Life mods. If you're in a populated city in a Life  mod you're going to get terrible fps.

Try using the optimize setting in Arma for video settings and see if that helps, if not then try using the optimize thing in Geforce experience.

Try setting your CPU Settings manually in the launcher and enable HyperThreading if you have it
