First legitimate MOD

whatthe_fuzz

today was a bittersweet day.

i took the plunge into the wonderful world of modding my case.

i have been looking at watercooling for a little while now but have kind of deemed it impossible due to fan orientation of my case. but today, that changed.

What makes this all so bittersweet is the fact that i am now using a ghetto computer.

no seriously this is GHETTO.

first, i wanted better cable routing so i bought some 1" rubber grommets (which havent come in yet) so i punched some holes.

this by far, was the most difficult part. i finally ran to the local @ s and grab a hardcore titanium drill bit.

it was all jumpy so it took off quite a bit of paint.

as you can see i did the good ole Sharpie coverup.

its not really noticeable but nonetheless

next i had to remove the hard drive cage. THIS was a pain. i had to search for rivets   <_<

i also took off two drive bays to make room for potential tubes!

Hey mate,

I don't want to pick on your method, but if you can afford it I suggest buying a dremel. The large saw/drill shown in the picture is an excellent tool (I own one) but a dremel is much cleaner and much more suited to case modding. The dremel will also stop the large tears and distortion of the case metal. Just a suggestion  ;)
