Will 550W be enough?

devbox

I am getting an Antec Earthwatts Platinum 550W PSU and I am wondering if it will power my new system:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P

CPU: Intel i5-6600K

RAM: 2x8GB DDR4-2400

CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO

CPU Fans: 2x Scythe Gentle Typhoons 1850dBa (120mm)

PCIe: Wireless AC card

PCI: Sound card

SSD: Mushkin 120GB

HDD1: WD Blue 2.5" 750GB

HDD2: WD Green 3.5" 3TB

GPU: Club 3D Radeon R9 380 4GB

Case Fans: 5x Fractal GP-14 fans (140mm)

USB: 6x devices

I am assuming yes it will as my current/old build has this instead:

CPU: AMD Phenom II 965BE OC to 3.6GHz

CPU Cooler: Antec Kuhler 620

RAM: 4x4GB DDR3-1600

GPU: XFX Radeon 7850 1GB

PSU: OCZ ZS550

which is much more power-hungry than the new one I am building.

PCPartpicker gives a pretty accurate read out of what the max wattage is for your parts, and if you don't like that there's the one from cooler master.

You gotta do you girl. I always say you gotta do you. And if he's doing him, then who's doing you? Because right now, it seems like no one's doing you.

It should be enough, but I'd go 600W just to be safe

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

550W is good. And that is a good PSU.

I havent had any issues, but I guess it happens eventually with nearly every power supply. the CX supplies are just really good at being really bad.
