folding for the lolz

I'm folding on my school laptop all day (10 or so hours a day) now. it is blocked from school so I am using a vpn :)

we were sitting watching romeo and Juliet and everyone else's computers were silent and mine sounds like a hair dryer and is burning hot. were charge our laptops overnight and we are meant to last through the day but if we really need we can get a battery swap. I go through three batteries a day :) 

My rig: r7 1700 @ 3.9/1.35v, 16gb ddr4 3200, assorted rando SSDs, hx 1050, vega 64 1650/1025

I folded on all 14 of my school's imac 27' things of utter ugliness for 5 days straight when the teacher was out. LOL. I got 1.3 mil points and helped research!

could I plant a virus in our server rack and podium computers (and laptops too) so that every computer in the school was running folding with all spare processing power? any ideas? cos we have like 50 i5 and i7 desktops and 3 full racks of zeon quad core servers

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but please try to not break any laws in the name of folding. I'm not enough of a kill-joy to discourage such questionable activities, but it is worth noting that the forum COC prohibits my endorsing/discussing them.

I wouldn't. I'm friends with my IT. I was joking... however if I could convince them to do it in the holidays it would be awesome! like probs 5mil a day!

it's not even a good laptop...

it has a first gen core i3 370m...

Better than the 1.6ghz atom with a 10" screen with a 2" border and 2gb ram I got.
