Probably not.

the x90 is usually reserved for dual GPUs, they'd be more likely to release a 985m, or 1080m

It actually is quite probable that the GPU will be called 990m (according to OP's Sources) but the names "GTX 980 for mobile" or "GTX 980mti" might be possible.

Also: the card is supposed to be a substitution for two 980m in Sli

High End Gaming laptops are boring anyways. 

I'd personally wait till 16nm xD

Gone are the days of inferior gaming laptop counterparts. And to boot, most are still using 1080p displays which makes driving them a breeze for these mobile chips.

Its on my radar, but its not actually sold in the UK so thats a problem

Youd think a company like Razer, who actually has a huge user base in the UK would sell the damn thing there :/

Maybe try finding a new one on eBay, same thing and usually huge discounts when you find the right seller who just wants to get rid of it

They are on amazon uk, but I would have no warranty - my nvidia shield portable was the same, no warranty since they are not sold in the UK

 

The blade with 970m is on amazon for £2013 / $3150 US where on the razer store US its only $2200
