Upgrade to a 390x Build Log

Hi guys, this is my current build.

Intel Core i5-4690k 3.5GHz Quad Core with stock cooler

ASRock Z97 Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Crucial DDR3 4x2GB 1600MHz Memory

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM

Nvidia GTX 660ti 2GB

NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze

and two front fans that are Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition 140mm Fan's

I would like to make a few updates to it in order to start maxing out most games at 1080p, and possibly at 1440p if I find money to upgrade monitors sometime in the future.

The exact updates I would like to make, as well as the entire build, is listed here in this pcpartpicker link.

But, in short I'm upgrading the CPU cooler, the RAM, and the video card. The video card will of course be a 390x. But which one I end up choosing is dependent on reviews online, and feedback from any of you that have a 390x.

My main problem is whether my rig will have room for the cooler, which I believe it will with the low profile RAM that I chose, but feedback on that would be great if you have a Noctua NH-D14 build. Also, I think I have a pretty good power supply for the job, but confirmation on that would nice as well.

I will post pictures of my original rig when I get a chance.

Let me know what you all think. Thanks!

Not sure what my overclock is set at, I'll check here in a little while.

And why not the 390x? Not good price to performance?

Why is your CPU at 3.5ghz, did you just get super Fucked by the silicon lottery?

And the extra 100$ for a 390X instead of a 390 is not really worth it.

CPU is at 4Ghz. So it over clocks fine. When I listed specs, I forgot to account for overclock, my bad.

the 390x is fine, it performs like a 980 but cheaper usually
