I feel so stupid right now. Thought i had lost my phone and was panicking for the last 3 days. Didnt get to take it to Drayton Manor yesterday (would have been useful on the log flume as it is waterproof). Guess where i found it a few minutes ago...

Under my fricking table where i keep it! Mustve fallen under the bags i am taking to Dubai next week.

Current Rig:   CPU: AMD 1950X @4Ghz. Cooler: Enermax Liqtech TR4 360. Motherboard:Asus Zenith Extreme. RAM: 8GB Crucial DDR4 3666. GPU: Reference GTX 970  SSD: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO.  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro. PSU: Corsair RM1000X. OS: Windows 10 Pro UEFI mode  (installed on SSD)

Peripherals:  Display: Acer XB272 1080p 240Hz G Sync Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Brown Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB Headhet: Roccat XTD 5.1 analogue

i lost it.... but i found it in my pocket! 4 hours of looking for it!! i used to live in dubai, where you staying?

It was in my hand 

muh specs 

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Dunno the exact location, but i am probably gonna stay at my cousins house (she moved there after getting married)

I tried searching for it using Google Device Manager, didnt pick anything up. Thought i was screwed until it started buzzing this morning (it had a software update)

ooh nice enjoy yourself! if your into water sports visit dreamland its excellent! http://www.dreamlanduae.com/ its the best water park! also visit the Gold Souk its brilliant! take lots of money! gold, silver, and stones are EXTREMELY cheap!

Well we were planning to go to both places when we made a short stop there 5 years ago. I will be taking my phone and will be snapping some underwater pics (it is IP68 rated)

In high school my bag had a hole at the bottom and my phone must have fallen through so I spent the next 2 study periods searching the the school for it, never found it lol.

Thought i lost my galaxy Xcover (first one) when i was working a few years back.

Then someone called me and i found it

In a thread left after the tracks of my 5,6 tonne excavator in the mud...

Removed the mangled case, Brushed some mud off it and it still worked^^ 

Thankfully it had been raining so the phone just sank into the mud as the track rolled over it.

 

It died the same way though.. Rolled over it with steel tracks on pavement by mistake. Almost ground it into dust

So I got my phone stolen(I had just gotten this baller white Nokia XpressMusic) from my backpack at school. 3 weeks later it magically reappered in the same exact spot it was taken from. There were text messages from strangers and everything on it.

I have some good ones. 

 

1st. When I was quite a bit younger and in the days when flip phones were all the rage I had a relitively good phone that came with a awesome game (can't remember the phone or the game now unfortunately) Anway my much bigger and older brother kept taking my phone to play the game, so I decided that I would hide my phone, in my sock draw to prevent him from using it. Anyway, long story short I have memory issues and forgot where I put it. 2 weeks later I found it in the bottom of my sock draw.

 

2nd story Got very very drunk one night, as you do, and got back home with no trousers on, no phone, no wallet, no keys and no nothing,  I passed out for a little while on the door step of my home before waking and deciding to to hunting for my stuff, 1 hour later I find all my stuff, my trouses are in the middle of the road, my wallet is down by the side of the gutter, and my phone was lying on some grass near by. How they got there i have no idea.

when i was like 11 I "lost" my phone and didnt look for it for 9 months, and took me like 5 mins to find it cuz i knew it fell behind the bed but I didnt need it back then so I was like mehhh aint nobody got time to get it :P

I've only lost my ipad. I thought I lost it at the post office once. but it was in the car...

I never lost my phone. it is in my hand 24/7.
