What 970 brand should I take?

 

Dont mention AMD gpu's, im going for nvidia.

I would recommend the G1 Gaming GTX970 from personal use. A few friends have other models of 970's but none can overclock close to as good as mine.

Gigabyte or MSI,

 

but these are generally more expensive, and I just got my friend a GTX 980 for the price of a 970 :o ( and I've seen R9 390's 30€ off )

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

I personally own two EVGA GTX 970 FTWs and can say they are great cards if you have the budget. I managed to get them to +70MHz on the Memory (on both cards) and +400MHz on (both) the cores. This wasn't even pushing it and I had no artifacting.

I really like the design from EVGA's 970 and MSI (Red-black themed build), the gigabyte seems to top both of them correct? But dont really like the design of the gigabyte. I still want to have a silent pc yet powerful, and the gigabyte is the most quietest, correct? Would I still achieve something similar to the gigabyte if I take EVGA or MSI?

Most gtx970 produce similar noise on load. Some have features that the fans wont spin below 60°C, however this feature can be added with a custom BIOS mod.

I would prpbably take the MSI 4G if the G1 is out.

Inno 3d ultra gtx 970 is the best you can get and the cooling performance is much better than a gigabyte gtx 970 g1 gaming.

Pretty heavy tripple slot :(
