We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

I like to do everything for once.

I want a Ti for the 6 gigs,

but I could stay with a 980 then upgrade it into SLI.

doing regular maintence saves you money. even if you have to go back and do a little bit of work.

 

DX12 should make SLI combine VRAM, so it could be a valid option.

then you could join the club.

I plan on overclocking, so I want watercooling.

I'm in the UAE so not all components are available.

Water cooling doesn't always offer more performance most of the time, watch kyle's video to learn more.

I don't like the looks of air coolers. I should upgrade into a custom loop hopefully.

That's a good point, look for a cheap 120GB SSD and try to save the rest for a 980Ti.

Take a MSI x99 SLI PLUS with a be quiet Dark rock 3 cooler and drop 250gb ssd to 120gb one :) That way you could afford 980ti
