Nothing is a real bottleneck there... its not a bad build. I am not a fan of that CPU, but its not "bad". It should be plenty good enough to power the 760 well.

Your PSU, you can hold back on that, a 500w or even lower would be fine, don't quote me on that tough. What is your budget? If you can, upgrade your CPU and GPU

Get a new mobo and CPU first. Something like a MSI Gaming 3 and i5-4690k if it's in the budget, then get a new power supply. Something like a EVGA g2 or GS series so you can have something reliable. Or you can get a new GPU then a PSU but a GTX 760 is good for 1080p for now. The GPU I suggest are a GTX 970 or r9 390 if it's in the budget or if budgets not a issue a r9 390x, if it's really isn't a issue an r9Fury ( not fury x ) or GTX 980Ti.

Get a 970 or 980

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

Thanks.  Well this is what I currently have.  Just seeing if there is something I can change out.  I have had this for about a year or so and I want to make upgrades about once every year.

Yeah, for that system, you definitely don't need 750W. As Panzer003 said, all you need is 500W.

I guess you could sell your 8150 and pick up and 8350 if you just wanted to keep your system kind of "up to date". It is the newer model of the 8150. It's base is 4.0GHz with a 4.2 "overdrive" or boost. The caches are set up a little differently I think.. Not sure. It's pretty much the exact same processor but newer and a bit higher frequency. Of course you would get a new warranty with it though and it will (well, should) last you longer since it would be brand new.

He already has the PSU, so he can just stick to it. No point in getting a 500W if he already has the 750W one.

No not bad at all. The 970 gaming is a good board! But if you wanted to change it up you could go for something like the ASRock 970 Extreme series. Whatever floats your boat. but right now you have a good build. I would honestly only change your GPU. Get a 970 or a 290 or something :)

I wasn't told. If you can @savagenoob, try and get a better GPU and CPU, that'll give you way better performance, A GTX 970 and a I5 processor would do very nicely.

Ok thanks everyone.  Just trying to make a BEAST computer in a year or two slowely.

If you want it to be beast, I would suggest you switch over to the blue/green side. Not being a fanboy, AMD makes some good quality stuff, but Intel and Nvidia are quite usually much more reliable and have better support for their hardware and software. They don't always come out on top in performance, but for the most part they either do or they are neck and neck, and they also have two giant pros over AMD:

1. Better support for hardware software/less ghosts in the machines

and

2. Way less power draw equaling greater efficiency and lower temps.
