Last time I check (about a couple of years ago), it was fairly populated with hackers.

Yes it is alive, but a lot of wallhackers and aimboters, its crazy

There are still a load of servers up and I haven't ran into any hackers. All the servers are dedicated and hosted by other people so they're fairly competent at keeping hackers out, and you'll still find 32 man servers at 30+ people at peak times

there are a lot of people that still play it

there's a hacker here and there but they're not that common and there are plenty of other hacker-free lobbies

most of the "hackers" you find are people that don't completely suck at the game

initial setup is kinda confusing, but once you're done with that it's golden.

yea I play all the time, there's barely any hackers at all. One of the servers I play in I always go like 100+ and 40 death and people accuse me, but whatever they just mad :D

 

Most of the time if you run a hacker, it's easy enough to find a different server with lots of people to switch to.

Last time I checked (which was like a year ago) Punkbuster still supported CoD 4.

Lol, i guess it would get to the point where everyone on the game has wall hacks and invincibility so they would all be shooting each other and no one is dying lol.

Level cap says they recently did so in his last video, not sure when excatly.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to see, and cal my stupid ISP and ask why my speed goes down to 1Mb/s in the day and goes back to 10Mb/s at night lol.
