Recommend me headphones please.

I've just gotten a new build with a VI Hero motherboard which is supposed to have good sound. At the same time my old headphones are breaking down so I'm looking for some headphones under 70 euros which have a mic and can plug in to the back of my mobo to give me 7.1 audio. Any suggestions for headphones would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks!

Asus Orion(70€)

Asus Vulcan(64€)

Logitech G230(60€)

I would go with the Orion because it uses 50mm drivers and it is an open design headset. But all of them are pretty solid choices.

Hope it helped!

you're better off with headphones and a mic over just about any headset.

ad700 and HD558's are my typical recommendation.

Will work for electronic components and parts

do you just keep this on a notepad and paste it into threads every day now?

I should just stick it on a macro.

or make a huge button with a teensy I can smash

I've just gotten too lazy to reword it. seeing the same topics every day.

I won a pair of G230 a little while ago and they are pretty nice. Lightweight, Comfy, Nice sound, Mic is a little meh, but isn't that bad.

Might as well use autohotkey so when you're in the thread it selects the reply box, types the message and posts it for you.

In fairness to the OP he's got 70 euros and you're looking at well over 120 for either the headphones and then he needs a mic on top. For that sort of money he may be better of with a headset.

he's kind of at that weird price point where there are kind of ... 'ok' headsets out there but IMO better served not spending the money and getting a real real cheap 20-30 dollar headset and saving the cash later down the road for real audio if he so chooses.
