wouldn't the psu company have to because they're unit was the one who made ur system blow up

Intel won't, no.

 

However, the PSU company might. Is your computer plugged into a surge protector? Most of those come with a $25,000 (or higher) warranty for power surges.

 

'Course, getting them to actually pay for your replacement might be pretty much impossible.

Are you using a surge protector?

 

Although you could pull the "it worked and not it doesn't" trick... but that's a bit immoral so I'll leave that to you.
