Quiet casefans

Hi,

 

I'm going to buy the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX case.

I am thinking about replacing the 3 PH-F140SP that are included with the case.

According to some articles i've read they are a little loud.

I would like some quiet good performing fans.

I was thinking about be quiet fans but don't know how they'll perform with the dustfilter at the bottem and the front.

I've also read some great things about noctua fans, but some people claim they are overrated and hyped.

I am willing to spend some money, but I also don't want to exaggerate.

bequiet (or any fans for that matter) will perform just fine through a dust filter.

 

Noctua fans are pretty good, but they are kinda ugly imo. ALTHOUGH, you could buy the LTT themed ones (if those are even still available)...

 

Corsair SP 120 Quiet edition fans also seem to be quite popular.

Wait, the LTT fans were available!? 

 

I agree with Exploded, Noctuas are good, maybe take a look at the redux series for more neutral looks. Be quiet's are good, so are Cougars, and Scythes. I would suggest recieving the case for making an impulse buy. Everyone's definition is a bit different.

Yeah I was going to wait for the case to see whether the fans bother me or not :)

Some good suggestions already, I'll add the Antec True Quiet fans into the mix.

In my case I can a couple Silent Wings 2, a couple Antec True Quiet and some Noctua NF P14.

I'd say the True Quiets and Silent Wings are pretty close for noise with the Notcuas being a little louder than the other two but pushing a bit more air.

If money isn't an issue, NF-A14's and Silent Wings 2's are about as good as it gets.

But Be Quiet Pure Wing 2 for $11.90 and free shipping... Those are a great price in my opinion, if you have a 2nd pin voltage controlled fan header.

Pure Wings are great and a better value if the main objective isn't an extremely quiet system. It's not the best though.
