Hey everyone, I am getting this KILLER DEAL off of amazon for 5 fans for $21
http://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-F12-Value-Standard-Noise/dp/B00NTUJRHK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

My case is the 230T from corsair. I have 2 fans in the front as intake and 1 in the back as intake. I also have one fan on my Hyper 212 EVO. One of the fans that I get will go onto the back of the 212.

My problem is how to position the other 3 fans. People say neutral pressure is the best, which would be option one. But... option two puts up a fair fight for cooling, does it not?

KEEP IN MIND:  The front intakes first cool 4 hot storage devices, heating the rest of the system. I ALSO have a graphics card in there.

THIS IS NOT MY PHOTO. I AM NOT AT HOME AND IM DEBATING BUYING THE FANS, BUT I WANT TO KNOW PLACEMENT FIRST.
If it REALLY matters, I can take a photo of my system in a few days...

I prefer positive pressure, option 2, but that's just me. Less dust in the system = happy time cleaning/less often.

Positive air pressure FTW. It's much lower maintenance than neutral / negative air pressure.

I would put everything as intake except the rear fan, since the fans on the heatsinks will act as mild exhaust as well

I would go option2 but maybe flip the rear most top fan to exhaust size as it is it will probably with not do much or maybe a little blow hot cpu air down into the case before it reaches the rear fan. Id be afraid the rear top as intake would mainly just blow right out back and decrease the amount it'll pull from your cpu cooler

But then I got hot air exhausted right next to the intake fan...

Not really issue outside the case. Hot air rises. While inside the case this isn't important, outside it makes more sense. And you can setup fans so that exhausts are more powerful than intake. So they blow air further away.

E: Other would be just plain remove rear-top fan.

sorry man, I must've missed this notification.  Logicaldrm got it under control though.  I would be surprised if the air being drawn in was more than a few degrees Fahrenheit warmer than ambient.  Also not having a fan in that spot would not have much of a performance impact (if any at all) if you've got a decent rear fan (and you dont mind a hole on top of your case, I might secure some sort of foam on the inside of the top to keep dust from resting in to the pc while its off)
