6s is supposed to be late (october or later) this year. 

Being honest, most smartphones don't blow the old generations out of the water. If you want a smartphone soon, just get the the 6 and don't worry about it.

As the topic says.

The iPhone 6 is a great smartphone (besides the battery life). I have a 5s and it still runs like a champ. The 6s will probably be better, but I don't think it would be enough of an improvement that you should wait. Just get the 6 now if you want a new smartphone.

Imo only the #s phones like the 4s, 5s are worth getting because they bring the most refinement and performance.
