Why don't people use HTPC cases for SLI SFF builds?

monaka25

I'm not rich, or anything, I'm never in a LONG LONG time ever going to do this, but it hit me.. why don't people use like a HTPC case for a SLI build that is reasonably small? The Fractal Design Node 605 has support for a ATX motherboard, and has 7 FULL SIZE PCI slots! Its epic in perspective, so just why won't people do it? The first thing that may come to mind is "cooling". This may be true, but then there are water cooling enthusiast out there who would do this. Even on the other hand, if you put  like 3 titan X's in here, it would only mean a little bit of throttling. I don't understand, WHY don't people use this for SFF builds xD

MOTHERBOARD: some Asus motherboard CPU: I3-4130 GPU: Gigabyte(?) GT-1030 RAM: 8GB G.SKILL SNIPER 1600MHZ RAM + 4GB AMD ram PSU: Corsair CX450 CASE: Corsair Spec-03 OS: Win 10 64 bit Keyboard: Logitech G510s Mouse: Corsair G300s Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T5
I like outdoor warning sirens. Ask me anything about them.

I wouldnt consider the node 604 as a small form factor.....usually when people mention SFF its either a micro-ATX or ITX motherboard. plus, you would never need the power an SLI config just to power a PC stictly for just movie watching
