[Scratch Build] - STILNIX - M-ITX/ATX case with 1080mm rad space

svictorcc

Hi everyone.
I'll just start this thread to show what i have in mind.
It's a scratch case build, that already have some goals to be anchieved:

1 - Be minimalist;
2 - Have M-ATX max size;
3 - Can hold a max of 1080mm radiator space

Possible case dimensions: 42cm(H) x 29cm(W) x 39cm(D)

This case will be separated in 3 chambers:

1 - The main chamber, where the mobo will be;

2 - The bottom chamber, where the PSU and cables will be;

3 - The side chamber, where the 1080mm radiator will be.

This case can be all acrylic made, since it must be minimalist, but it's not close to another materials that you can suggest.
I'm going to design and rendering this case in Solidworks, but since i'm a noob with this CAD software, for now here is a paint scratch that i made:

This project do not have a deadline, so no rush with it.
Comments, suggestions and tips are welcome, especially if it is to teach me how to use the program solidworks :lol:

Actually the case measures will be something like this:

42cm(H) x 29cm(W) x 39cm(D)

It's m-atx dimensions, but it will have m-itx mobo support too.

So the 1080mm radiator length is the combined length of several rads?

No, it's a single 1080mm radiator, like this one:

How will the air flow in the radiator chamber? just wondering... Kind of interesting too...

Edit: and if you could make the entire MoBo side of the case made of clear acrylic that would be cool :)

I like the design and idea of this build! I would totally buy one (after seeing how it turns out)

There will be a cutout (probably 1cm wide) from the top of the case, passing through the back and going through the bottom of it. The front of the case will not have this cutout, only top, rear and bottom.

Another projection with a m-itx mobo (without the internal chambers division):
