Build for a friend

My friend is getting a new rig but i need help to push down prices.

 

Use:

Light amount of streaming and video recording.

Gaming.

 

He is a huge Razer fan and greatly appreciate looks. Black and green is the theme.

 

My build suggestion:

CPU: Intel i5 4460 (Thanks @Octavialicious)

GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 100ME (Thanks @OAcesync)

RAM: Hyperx Fury 1x8GB 1866Mhz

CASE: NZXT H440 Razer Edition

PSU: Evga Supernova 550w gs

COOLER: bequiet dark rock 3

SSD: Samsung 850 evo 250gb

HDD: WD Blue 1TB

MOBO: Gigabyte Z97X-Game Plus (Thanks @OAcesync)

 

Price: 1333€ / 13330kr

Since he really wants the razer case, the only thing I could think of is getting a i5-4440/4460 as it should be fine for light streaming

 

or maybe getting an R9 290, it performs really close to the GTX 970 and is a lot cheaper

2*4 CAS 9 1600 MHz Ram from corsair or g.skill = cheaper for the ram.  A cheaper processor like an i3 or an i5 is more than enough for gaming.  Unless you really need an ATX board a Micro ATX board can save you money too.

actully hyperx memory is cheaper where i live and he wants atx board as he is gonna keep this for along time and uppgrade

He could opt for a 390 which is better than a 970 but if he's really hellbend on not using AMD then he should get a MSI ME 970 instead which is actually green.

Also he should get the Gigabyte Z97X-Game Plus because it's good motherboard and again is green so it would go perfect with the color scheme.

1. 4460 is cheaper and jumping from i5 4690k to i7 4690k isnt that much of an improvement in gaming and he was gonna upgrade anyways later so why not make the entry price just a tad bit lower.
