FX8350 "bottlenecking" my system in GTA? No change in FPS w/ Resolution change.

Its not technically a beta... They're adding a few HD tanks. Its not a beta test at all. They're complete models that are released each patch.

You're crazy, GTA V is one of the best ports to come out in years. I have an $800 computer that can run it 1080p ultra with a locked 60 fps, and it looks way better than similar games like Watch Dogs that perform way worse.

You should slot in between the 9590 and 8370E pretty handily if it were the CPU holding you back.  There are some optional settings that do increase CPU load however.

So how come everyone I knew who tried it went back to 360 and PS4? The game did not even last 1 week! >=(

Nope they all had i5 and i7.

 

Also 970 and 980 is good GPUs! 

 

When those things cant play a game then the game is bad.

I really find it hard to believe they had these issues and would actually go back to console... Ive heard no one have terrible experiences.

Yeah PCLab seems very fishy to me. The results they get with high end GPUs like R9 290 or GTX 980 are often worse than what I get with GTX 760... so something is fucky with their benchmarks. Also their results much like TechSpot seem far too linear, when realistically you often see zero difference between high end CPUs (such as 4690K, 4790K, 5820K etc.) because the CPUs are all ample fine to drive the GPU without contributing any additional frame latency.

I have no idea... me and my 3 best irl friends all play it without any issues.

 

I have i5-4690K + GTX 760, game runs at a mix of high and very high settings at about 70 FPS. My neighbour has a 5960X and SLI 980s... safe to say he runs the game completely maxed out without any issues. And one of my friends has i3-4150 + GTX 560 and runs the game at normal settings at ~70 fps... and last friend runs on i3-4150 + R9 270 and runs the game at ~50 FPS on high settings.

Well if you did not play with all MAXED then I guess it may be the why.
