Speedfan doesn't work

Go to solution Solved by Theo,

Alright im typing how i made it work for me, ill edit this

K so Click configure
then go on advanced and on Chip select the one that comes up with PWM 1 mode PWM 2 mode and so on and so on.
Then all the PWM modes, then them to manual and click on the box remember it.
Now you should be able to adjust all the fan speeds of the fans connected to your mobo.

If you want to make custom fan curves go on configure, then fan control
Add and name it whatever you like, then click on control speed and select which fan you want to control.
then add which temperature it should be based on and make the fan curve whatever way you like.
Then on the main screen select automatic fan speed

And it should work

I'm trying to get speedfan to work but it won't adjust anything D:

Ikr? Its the same on all of my Laptops and LGA775 desktops. And my H87M-Pro which can be controlled with Asus's utility can't be controlled by speedfan.

ahh speed fan never got it working tried it on two PC's and it doesn't do anything for fan speed.

EDIT: that;s probably why none of my mobos had support for it.

Are you sure your system is supported by it? They have a list of compatible motherboard on their site.

You have an MSI board, have you tried 'MSI Control center'? It has CPU fan speed and SYS 1 & 2 fans. Basic but its good a good monitor.
