Do in game settings override the Nvidia control panel?

If I have FXAA enabled in game, but it's set to off in the nvidia control panel will FXAA be enabled?

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

click the "adjust image settings with preview" tab.  check "let the application decide."

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Short answer: yes

Long answer: All functions you activate "in-game" are handled by the game engine, everything you turn on in the control panel is performed by the hardware. So if you - for example - activate AA in-game AND in the control panel your GPU will actually do it "two times". First the game engine will apply AA and after that the nvidia hardware will apply it. This will of course be a hit on your performance. Best solution is to use the control panel only for some games where there are no in-game graphics options (mobile ports, older games, etc.).
