OS suggestion? something that wont be too slow? :D

My Linux knowledge doesn't go much further than "I have seen people say they have ran it", so I wouldn't know how to do it.

For Linux.. Seems like Mint is pretty good, but not sure if it can run on an xbox.. And looked it up, the Xbox has a Celeron CPU. And it has a 10GB HDD, so you need a small OS. Like real small

i have 

x2 acer laptops

a gaming/editing pc

a powermac g5 used as a backup server

an old dell used to store random files

and a rack mount dual opteron server as a home file server

(most linux ISOs are smaller than 4 gigs, also there are different SKUs of the original xbox. ;) an old pentium (and i mean REALLY OLD) and a ''celeron'' sorta. xD )

With enough ghetto modding you'll prolly be able to run XP on it aswell

windows XP was pretty much designed for the pentium III ...... <youtube video of badass dual pentium3 and HD4670 on AGP slot>

(still triyng to find it)

i dont think an old pentium/celeron of console calibur could run XP. ;-; unless devs were just really underestimating the xbox's power. (cause doom 3 actually looked damn good for its time even if you consider a low end computer, cause IDsoftware only made it for the xbox cause it was JUST a pc anyway....
