RROD Help

KingVortexHD

So my Xbox 360 has gotten the RROD, I can get it fixed but I want to replace the heatsink and want to purchase the Zalman CNPS5X Performa CPU Cooler. I'm just not sure if it will fit in the 360 socket. I have no idea what type of socket it but i do know that the mounting holes measure 60mm x 60mm. Does anyone know if the cooler will fit?

BTW if this is in the wrong forum, I'm sorry.

Not likely. I can't think of any socketed CPU that has mounting holes that close together. Maybe you'll have better luck with one of those universal GPU coolers

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

You could always try zipties

Don't actually do that.

Can that red ring actually be resolved? I thought that if you got it, it was game over.

New to Star Citizen? Look no further!

Doesn't the red ring happen because some adhesive or something ends up melting? But yeah I don't know of any cooler that would fit the 360's mounting holes. You should make a custom one with your neighbor's CNC!  ;)
