Yes this is a very good build all though you might want to get an ssd and perhaps another 8gb of ram.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

I would say that's build good for hardcore gaming, not casual :P
If I were you however I would get a better power supply for some extra headroom for overclocking etc.

Honestly, if you are just causal gaming and want to save some more money, dropping to a 280x wouldn't hurt too much and would save you a ton of money, mind you only do this if you are gaming in 1080p.

I'm a student currently attending the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, if you attend or around there please don't hesitate to contact me!

Mudkip: CPU: i5-4670k; Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo; Memory: 16GBs Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz; Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X UD5H; GPU: ASUS DCUII 770 2GB @ 1254MHz; HDD: Seagate Barracude 1TB; PSU: CX750M; Case: ThermalTake A31 Chaser Thunder

Don't make another thread use this one :P

For the games you mentioned you can get yourself a locked i5 4440 with an h81 motherboard and get an r9 380 or a gtx 960 and you should be absolutely golden, while saving a lot of money too.

ok the i5-4690K isnt really nessesary if your not going to OC and if your going to OC get a aftermarket cooler

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler
