Posted June 24, 2015 Ebay is perfectly safe. Anything that goes wrong, open a claim, send them some pictures, and bam, you get to keep the item AND get a full refund. Most seller's will try their best to be as descriptive as possible, as even the smallest complaint can lead to them not receiving money AND losing the item.
