LOL? Malware? What did you install, any torrents? Porn? Did it actually sound like a fire alarm? Is it all good now? Maybe you blew out your circuit... probably not?

id say it was a random static dicharge from you case to your monitors sound(probably a HDMI port on your grafics card) that was picked up by the speaker's amplifyre modifyed and inturprited as whayever the shit you heard. this hapens somethimes if the PC case is metal and not grounded, computer parts create magnetic feilds that can in some cases charge things like cases with some static electricety and then in rare cases it can dicharge for some reson posibly damaging or just doing stuff liek this

so i assume that you are using hdmi or displayport to connect your monitor which means that it could receive that sound through the gpu. maybe it is a driver issue try to reinstall your video card drivers. it could also just be a hardware issue. check your wires for damage and see if they are all connected right. you could also try another hdmi or displayport on your gpu. have you tried another pc yet to see if it is the monitor or the pc. you can also try using dvi if your monitor and video card have the option because dvi doesn't support audio.

im not sure why i was quoted but whatever i guess its either harwere related or a static dicharge, or atleast that what i think, also just get some speakers, your motherboard will have outputs for them speakera are cheap if your not looking for top teir stuff

My laptop use to do a similar thing. I could induce the laptop to create the horrid noise by having something playing through the speekers and then getting the CPU to thermal throttle. when the computer would stutter the audio would bug out and stop responding.

What CPU temps are you getting? and are you thermal throttling?

I would try a clean install in safe mode and see if the problem persists

the flashing power button is probably your HDD activity LED. or a loose Led power cable the plugs in to your motherboard

I can only speak from experience but when my monitors go to sleep my computer is still active for another 2 hours so the HDD led is flashing. after the 2 hours my computer will sleep and then all lights pumps and fans turn off

i think it depends on the settings but thats what happene di thought the pc just completely shut off on its own.....so my only issue really is a driver that causes an audio issue through my monitors speakers it seems.

First make sure that you have a copie of your GPU driver installer in an easy to access place.

Click start>  Control panel> Uninstall a program> Uninstall all the nvidia drivers.

Once you have removed them all turn the computer off by clicking Start> Shut down. Not by holding the button down.

Now turn the PC back on and when the windows loading screen come on press and hold the power button until the PC turns off.

Turn the PC back on and wait for the black screen to show "Start Windows Normally, Safe Mode and two other versions of safe mode. Select safe mod and let windows start up.

The screen resolution will be wrong but ignore that.

Open the GPU driver and perform a clean install. Once it has done that restart the PC and see if the problem happens again.
