9.600 euro game pc?

Hello ,

I just got 10.000 euro from my dead grandmom, and I am game addict.

So I want a Gaming Rig, what is ultra over over kill, looks nice and is just freaking beasty !

I asked a couple of companies what they think is the best.

Now is my question what you guys think thats all what I say above?

Thanks everyone!

There might be better uses ?

Maybe use 2k for a nice pc and screen ?

It ain't really smart to just blow it all

^^ what he said

For 2000-3000€ max you get the most beastly PC you can have...everything above that is just throwing money away because you wont get any part that can make your PC run games faster for more money. You get the best cpu and best gpu(perhaps 2 x 980ti if you re really crazy) and you still cant go over 3000€.

And you still have 7000€ in your pocket for emergencies that you never know will happen until they happen

Save your money. You'll get no benefit out of spending 10,000 units of anything on a PC unless you're a professional video editor/developer, etc. save your money, shop smart, spend what's left on other things. You'll not regret it.

Just spend $1000 on a PC and save the rest for the future.

I would get

4790k

Decent Z97 motherboard

16GB RAM

1000W PSU for the sake of sitting near the top of its efficiency curve

2x 980 Ti

1TB SSD

2TB HDD

A 4K monitor

And that will take you up to about €2000

There is literally no point in spending any more.

EDIT: Have a look at some really sleek Lian Li cases actually. They make some ridiculously nice cases for people just looking for pointless stuff to blow money on. if money were no object I'd be interested in one.

True, but you have to spend a lot of money on things that don't do anything. Like seriously, 6TB storage? 64GB RAM?

Spend a grand on an AV receiver and a proper 7.1 sound system instead of just adding extra stuff to a PC that don't do anything.

Thanks mate thats a beast!

It isn't though. Functionally it's not actually any different from what I suggested. It is great at specific tasks, it would make a fantastic work station or compute and data storage server for home use, if that's what you were interested in, but besides that it won't get you any more gaming performance -- and due to the way CPUs and SLI are utilised it isn't futureproof either.

I totally agree with you but I never intended there to be any smart spending in this build at all. lol.

I don't think you're crazy, but I think that you should be aware of the fact the difference between a €10000 and a €2000 PC, unless you're doing specific things, is literally nothing. It won't last any longer, that CPU is going to go out of date just as quickly as anything else. In fact a third GPU is a detriment to performance more often than it increases it.

im sorry but thats stupid..... you dont need to waste so much on a pc, why not travel the world for a couple of months or buy a nice car.......

2000 euros is the max you should be spending on a gaming pc, for 1 you dont need 64gb of ram, 2 you dont need 3 titan xs, 3 you dont need triple monitor and 4 you need a wake up slap.

So if I am saying the right thing now : the gaming performance wont be any better then a 4000 euro build?

But I am going to Use it aswel as a home server for 12 room mates(who are editing photos for the fun ALOT[emoji30] )

Is it then a reasenble build?
