What resolution?

What fps are you getting?

What settings are you using?

etc etc etc

The game can be demanding, and the FX arent the best, but you should still be getting playable results

Depends on the settings your trying to play at. unless we know then we can't advise if it's an issue or just too high settings for decent frames..

Check your power management settings in windows. Switch it to high preformance. Maybe that will work

His cpu and gpu shouldnt be bottlenecking him. I have a FX 6300 and a r9 270. And I run this game with max settings 45-60 fps (no aa because of artifacts in gta 5)

I guess the problem is your driver. You could also overclock your gpu a bit, its very easy with MSI afterburner: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-download.html

What settings configuration do you have now?

What FPS do you have now and what are you looking for to get?

What level of detail/graphic demand are you expecting to get?

This is probably just a problem due to bad utilization of the graphics settings.

Normal on settings

i get 25-35 fps and would like a stable 45-50

My Setup :P

Does this happen all the time? Or when you go to Sandy Shores/the mountains?

all

I was using a GTX 960 with an FX-6300 and was getting 60 fps on high settings.

However, I was getting dips in the 30's when going to Sandy Shores and the mountains. I found out this was due to the grass shadow quality being turned up, it absolutely tanked the performance.
