If you have your crosshair set to mid/head level, all you need to do then is use WASD keys and a slight amount of movement from the mouse to line up your aim.

 

However there are exceptions, i need a new mouse as it's a cheap microsoft one and does not track smooth at all, so i have to twitch aim to get my kills.

- Make sure your crosshair is always at head hight, no matter the difference. Crosshair placement is probably the most important factor in CS:GO when it comes to both improving and being good. 

- Learn the weapons that are used the most. AK47, M4A1-S/M4A4, USP-S/P2000, Glock, Tek9/Five-Seven. 

- Learn how to shoot with both controlled bursts, one taps and sprays. You're going to be using them all once you get better at the game. 

- Lower your sensitivity and get a large mouse pad. It maybe slower to move with a low sensitivity, however, it will make you more accurate when it comes to shooting at the head. 

- Communicate with teammates and learn to take orders and work as a team. If you don't, you're going to lose, no matter how many frags you get. 

- It's not a game about individual skill. It's a team game. 

- Learn the economy game. It will help you keep rounds going and make sure you have enough money when it comes close games.

- Learn how to peak and move round corners. It really hurts me to see people at LEM still not able to do this correctly. The Adren video above is how you should be peaking most of the time.

- Remember to implement movement into your aiming and not just aim with your mouse. You'll pick this up as you play.

I'm GN3 but my own skill are only 30% of my problem, i was MG1 and deranked twice, i just seem to hit twats all the time in MM.

MGE is a competent player, but not a good player. 

Played an LE on DM server last night, he added me as a friend after i told him my main is at GN3, i beat him with 3 more kills and 2 less deaths.

 

My friends are GN4/MG1/MG2/MGE/DMG/LE
