Is it just me, or should EVGA release a 2000W KingPin Edition PSU?

I know that SuperFlower (company that makes EVGA's PSUs) has a 2000W 8Pack version, so i think it will be a good idea to release a 2000W KingPin Edition?

Your thoughts?

Why not buy the superflower one. You live in the uk not like you don't have access to it. Also 2000w power supplies are quite useless at the moment.

Do the EVGA custom cables and CableMod cables work with SuperFlower PSUs since they are the same manufacturer?

Highly unlikely. Sleeve the cables yourself.

I don't think a 2000W power supply would be able to handle 4 295X2s, joke or not.

No? It wouldn't be able to utilize it's full capacity on NA 120V 15A circuits anyways

 

 

I don't think a 2000W power supply would be able to handle 4 295X2s, joke or not.

Alone yes, but not when including CPU and other components.

Well EVGA sell their PSus internationally, so it would make sense in other markets (e.g Overclockers Uk sells boht the SuperFlower PSUs and the EVGA branded ones)

No they are not compatible. There will be braided cables from SuperFlower though.

Wouldn't get UL certification for north america, and a PSU maker isn't going to bother making a PSU that can only be used in 1 region.  Not to mention pretty much no one needs > 1600W for a desktop anyways so it's a submarket of a submarket.
